Plain and simple: a family of five needed more space. A rear addition rebuilt the kitchen and dining, added a deck, and remade the primary bedroom and bath.

Great bones, post-modern ’90s finishes, and a kitchen layout the owners — serious cooks — couldn’t use. Brought fully up to date around how they actually live.

The ductwork and electric were buried in the slab — corroded, improperly run, unsalvageable. We demoed the rough mechanicals, re-routed everything overhead, re-oriented the kitchen toward the pool terrace, and gave the house its mid-century glory back.
